Questions about the 1st Segment – Didem Pekun
dear Ari,
I just listened to the zoom recording, such a great first class and cohort!
Classes are on evening time for me, so i wont always have the energy to connect at that time, but I will make sure to listen to the recordings when i cant.
I had three questions about the 1st Segment:
– does involution happen between main stages only or does it happen within each three steps as well?
– a Soul does not start each life from the beginning, right? ie. one might have been born a Spiritual first stage, but go back and finish earlier “homework”, exhaust remaining desires, and resume Spiritual stage?
– you often mention “loss of innocence” – when does that happen?
Many thanks and greetings to everyone.
Didem

What great questions Didem. I’m curious to learn a fresh new perspective about these topics.

Hi Didem,
– does involution happen between main stages only or does it happen within each three steps as well?
Between all three as well, and even between those. We can divide each substage into more sub-stubstages etc.
– a Soul does not start each life from the beginning, right? ie. one might have been born a Spiritual first stage, but go back and finish earlier “homework”, exhaust remaining desires, and resume Spiritual stage?
Correct, they don’t start from the beginning. All evolution happens from the stage the soul is at. If I understand your second question, there may be situations where evolution cannot proceed until certain karmic dynamics are resolved. Exhaustion of desire is the essence of evolution, but it’s not going back to an earlier evolutionary stage, it’s happening within the context of the stage the soul is it even though at times it may appear otherwise.
– you often mention “loss of innocence” – when does that happen?
At any stage. The loss of innocence, in the way I speak to is a Pisces/Neptune archetype, which I’m happy to revisit as we learn these archetypes.

Thank you Ari for the answers.
And thank you Donna for the feedback.

I was thinking about the last segment from last week and I was wondering about if you had any suggestions around prompts and working with people to get a read on where they are within the development stages. I was also wondering how you might alter your language/delivery of the reading to be helpful depending on the stages.
Thank you

Hi Cody,
The person’s questions and how they express what they are wanting/ what’s most important to them is a big part of it. And there’s also an intuitive sense that our inner being feels, beyond our mind. The actual soul reality resonates on the level of soul. So I think this is just something we are naturally attuned to.
For me the language/delivery of the reading naturally accommodates to where the person is it. This happens if I’m emotionally attuned to their actual soul reality (in other words it wouldn’t be natural for me to speak to a soul for a stage they are not at).
The crux of a soul’s evolutionary stage relates to the bottom line of their desire. The underlying desire nature of the soul itself. Sometimes it takes some back and forth to get the feel of it, but if they are earnestly showing up for the session with a desire to grow, then they will naturally reveal to us where they are at.

Hi Ari,
I’m starting to catch up…
What’s a good way to think about the desires of a soul? Do the desires correspond to what a soul has incarnated to learn, overarching themes like service or fairness? Or do desires include beliefs/karma that generate experiences? Or both?
Thanks!
Sari

Hi Sari,
What’s a good way to think about the desires of a soul? Do the desires correspond to what a soul has incarnated to learn, overarching themes like service or fairness? Or do desires include beliefs/karma that generate experiences? Or both?
Desire implies a deep concentration of wanting, that which is the point of fixation and attachment. What we desire becomes the bottom line for what our life is about. All things will be perceived and internalised relative to what we desire.
The themes that a soul is working are the result of the desires of the soul. Desire creates incarnation and the draw into human life. Human life becomes the vehicle to work through our desires (exhaust them, generate new ones..) via the experiences we create for ourselves. We can say that a soul may be learning lessons of “kindness, or how to stand up for themselves etc” but this points back to where they are evolving as a soul, which means where they are letting go of old attachments (desire yields attachment) and shifting their attention to a more empowered focus. This might mean seeking out new experiences and learning new things about oneself so as to affect the inner shift away from the old fixations and onto a new phase of evolution.
Karma is the result of desire: we generate actions and behaviours which set in motion our individual karma. It’s unavoidable so long as there is something we are wanting. The results of our actions then impels us to respond and make new choices and ultimately this leads to the exhaustion of old desires and the generation of new ones and thus new frames of perception and new choices etc… ongoing and ongoing for many lifetimes.
