Sun in Scorpio in the 4th house

1- What is the life purpose of the soul?

To have the confidence to dig deeply into their own psyche and innermost self.  Uncover things that are blocking their growth and nurturing themselves so that they can transmute their own identity.  To get to a place where they are feeling empowered and confident to dig into things that they feel about their core identity and sort through it.  Knowing that whatever they find there will be a way through it.  Taking the light into the darkness and digging into who they are at a core level to accept it for what it and who they are and learn to love and nurture themselves wholly.  To bring this forward into their lives and learn to express their inner selves in a playful way that is from the inside out.

2- Describe the unique ways this soul can give purpose and meaning to their entire life?  In what ways will the soul be drawn to become creatively self-absorbed and engaged with life?

This soul could find themselves digging deeply enough into themselves to foster, build, explore, and expand an intimate relationship within.  And therefore, be able to come from a place of knowing oneself and share and nurture that connection with others.  They may be very good at holding space for others to explore their own intimacy within and or with each other.  I see these things orbiting around each other like a binary system.  The illumination they have taken within can be a guiding light for others to open up to themselves.  If they can get over their fear of sharing their most intimate feelings, they may have a special knack towards getting to know others in an intimate way.   I feel that comfort within is going to be inviting and draw others towards it.

3- What does self-confidence look like here?  What would a healthy radiant being look like here?

One that can show their innermost self in confidence to others as a guiding light to inspire and nurture others to find themselves.  Someone that is confident within will show that confidence on the outside.  Someone that has overcome the fear of digging.  Someone that knows the value in it and wants to share that with others.  Someone that even if they don’t go into a field that helps others will be a guiding light without trying.  People will naturally feel their confidence and comfort within.

4- What might be some issues the soul might face in self-confidence, claiming their creative agency and right to be here?  What does it look like to lack confidence and thus not grow in one’s creative agency?

Possibly thinking that there is something wrong with their core or inner self.  They might get tired of digging or feel that it is too hard to dig that deeply into their innermost self.  Possibly thinking that they need to see what others will think about how they are digging into themselves, and or what they are finding is not acceptable.

Lacking confidence may look like they are too afraid of something they have found to get through it completely.  Wanting to push that part of themselves away and or get rid of it.  Getting stuck or thinking they may die if they dig into it far enough.  Most likely giving up just before they make the breakthrough that will get them to the next level. Getting defensive about things they find and feeling like it is someone else's fault.  That layer of protection that is just too thick to get through.  They are comfortable and even though they feel incomplete they are warm and fed.  I can see how they may get stifled by not being willing to share with someone like a therapist to get a different vantage point to see something in a new light.

They may become defensive and push others away to protect their perceived lack.  They may find themselves holding on to a view of themselves that holds them back.  The fear can paralyze them and hold them in check and thus illuminate a need to confront this sense of less than.  And keep them from getting to know who they are and love themselves like a mother would, which is their birthright.

Well said

Yes, this will all consulate around family, trust, home, security etc.

It can also express as the confidence to source one's essential security from within. To nurture and care for their essential human needs. This will express as their ability to share emotional intimacy, to be vulnerable and deeply present in close bonds and connections.

Being the Sun, their life is centralized around this depth of psychological emotional self-knowledge.

I would stream line this to say this is about a penetrating sense of emotional vulnerability: a hyper focus on how they are or are not taken care of. This can express as extreme narcissism: being victimized by other people's lack of emotional care and attention, or needing to draw from others constant need for emotional validation. This can take the form of sexual connections that go deep and provide for a sense of being safe, secure, wanted.

Or in the opposite way, lacking in the self-respect to honor one's emotional needs and self-empowerment and being stuck in domestic situations that are abusive, where their own agency is not honored.

Issues around attachments to what has provided security and inability to let go, or conversely issues with trust and forming commitment leading to a deep sense of there being unresolved emotional needs.

Great job Bob, follow some of the other posts and responses as well.
