I see that you, like Lisa, interpreted Mercury in Aquarius in the 11th (as opposed to Pisces in the 11th). I'll give you feedback here just as I did for Lisa. And I suggest you read through the others posts and my responses to gain an even more thorough learning of these signatures.

11th house is generally the home of Aquarius, it has a Uranian energy, which is the higher octave of Mercury, so this soul will have a heightened mind/air energy, and perhaps in an unusual, futuristic, excentric Uranian way. Like a mad scientist archetype, very left brain inventor with an eye always in the future, downloading new ideas and inventions as a way to serve, his way of being in community.
11thhouse represents community and friends in the life of the soul, but also trauma, group belonging vs. exclusion issues, elitism and how we free our mind from the known and conditioned, what we are liberating from. 

This soul might have trauma around not knowing how to be with people, his main strategy might be to wow with facts and data, and knowledge of things that are beyond other peoples comprehension. He probably doesn’t have a lot of intimate connections, he is more focused on downloading new knowledge and research of new ideas. He probably believes only in the scientific method as Mercury is our left brain function, linear thought and organization of information.

Well said. It's absolutely true that there is innately a strong linear and scientific orientation here. Depending on the soul, this can be directed towards objective knowledge systems like astrology, or conversely they would see things like astrology as "lower intelligence" and a pseudo science.

Only correction is this soul wouldn't have a "strategy to wow with facts and data". This isn't about impressing anyone. The issue may be one of COMFORMITY where this soul has learned how to get along with the group with the air sign duplicity to know what to say to belong. In such a case, they would feel inwardly alienated and not connected to the words they are saying/ the way they are manifesting in life as a social being.

Otherwise this is about freedom of the mind, making associations and thinking according to a freed up mine and a lack of preconception

Or it might be a soul with persecution and excommunication issues from previous lives for being an intuitive wisdom teacher, inventor or healer who used the vast right brain powers of the previous eras, and in this lifetime she is trying to fit in and be successful in the the current paradigm through exclusive left brain focus.

What you say is correct except for the reference to "right brain" and "intuitive". That would be so if this was Jupiter. This is strictly left brain. Aquarius as the higher mind and relates to pure witnessing without names or interpretation. Here, the Mercury brain would be processing the observations, which themself arise from the space in the mind to see without pre-conception, and be categorized as scientific data/ information about reality that can now be added to their intellectual framework. So there can be a bringing forward scientific knowledge that then became the basis for persecution/excommunication type situations for sure.

Things like book burnings relate to this signature as well - something we've seen in history where "heretical" books were destroyed because of the ideas they purported to be true.

of the soul's memory recall in these signatures? 
Uranus, the ruler of 11th house and higher octave of Mercury, rules memory in the eternal soul sense, so perhaps that shows up as someone who can tap into that and organize it with the left brain power, communicate channeled messages for humanity within the current language, so to speak.  
Or perhaps this is someone who has conflict with that Uranian right brain memory because he is a scientist and cannot accept downloads of sudden insight without the proper years of research.  

Yes - this can be an issue of fitting a lot of electricity through a wise that is not large enough to carry it. So there can be a lot of whole picture non organized Uranuian information but difficulty in categorizing it all. Or difficulty in articulating and communicating it. The key is to bring the linear mind into focus by way of staying as a witness of the thoughts, and then articulating what one sees. Kind of like being IN the city and describing it while cultivating an orientation as if the soul is standing above the city looking down on it.

In this sense there might be a very quick mental processing power. Their memory may be very full picture but not necessary categorized. If there is trauma, then their perceptions will be categorized into "files" in the mind, or fire specific neural pathways, that are associated with certain unresolved past events. This could equal a certain paranoia and a lot of mental projections, not seeing anything for what it is but a whole lot of distorted perception.

This is in fact a signature of a soul who, potentially depending on context and evolutionary stage, can tap into things like the akashic records and access past and future life memories. This is going into the Uranus memory and then articulating specific data. Also decoding and articulating archetypal language like astrology or the i ching or tarot. Channeling can also apply here in the sense of being an antenna to receive thoughts from a higher vibration and communicate them.

He will probably be into technology, electricity, power, AI, any kind of connectivity and data processing to improve ways society functions and people are connected better.
He could be very well known speaker on some of these topics, accepted by society as innovative and knowledge expert.

All true, however regarding the last sentence, that may or may not be. It's possible their ideas will innovate present day current thinking, or their ideas may be "ahead of their time" and completely rejected, or understood only by a few. Again we can also have the situation of this soul just being on the fringe of some far out ideas that are paranoid, conspiratal by nature, but all logically make sense.

What is a way the soul might become trapped in identification in the
limitations of linear thinking? What might be the way out of it for this soul?

Way of being with people might become all about information and data, seeing people as research subjects and information sources, users of technology, or samples...
Being elitist based on ones theories and information one focuses on, for example, a doctor to whom only science based information is acceptable and anyone who has a holistic and intuitive way of dealing with information is a ‘hack’ and has nothing of value to offer to the conversation.

The opposite house is the 5th, the energy of Leo, so this soul might find balance in bringing more Heart into their communication and way of being with others, as well as bringing more creativity and pleasure into their life to balance the linear left brain tendency to just focus on data, improvements and outcomes. 

Excellent. I mentioned this is another post (forgot which one) - but with the issue of elitism here especially strong with Mercury in both Aquarius and the 11th house, there can be a sort of arrogance in looking "down upon" (because you're seeing from a higher place) those who are unintelligent in their thinking. This becomes its own Mercury limitation in that there is now an arrogant self-importance placed upon the soul's existing logical framework as objective and factual. This is the opposite of open mindedness which the higher calling of this signature: freedom of the mind, seeing without preconception such there is always space for new data, new information. Once something is already decided as true, the mind will cease to formulate new questions to test out the existing conclusions.

Leo 5th house is, as you imply, keeping the heart open - staying connected to a place of dignity, play, creativity and respect. Otherwise this becomes a matter of being a "brain in a vat" purely objective and rational, but also detached and maybe elitist with very little humanity in it.
