I am Mars.  I feel embodied energy moving forward toward many possibilities.  I am confident having grown up largely on my own with my father in a survival setting.  I have learned that most people here where I live in this local community now rely on a grocery store for their food. My father and I always ate off the land. I feel very strongly that relying of a grocery store to feed everyone in this community is unhealthy, but mostly creates too much dependence on a single food source.  Recently I wrote an article for the local paper on organic gardening and the idea of creating a cooperative food source.  My research extended to interviews with resources from other communities who had established similar efforts.  Calls have been coming in mostly from people interested in creating nutritional alternatives for their families.

This has been good for me as I am seeking to improve my verbal skills, writing and speaking.  I finished high school, but sitting still was not my strong suit. But, I'd rather learn from experience than just reading books.  The editor at the local newspaper has taken me under her wing.

Being raised the way i was, my orientation to relationships depends more on this project on hand rather than having shared past experiences--like those who have grown up here.  A big help has been a girl I met who cooks at the local restaurant and has lived her all her life.  She's supportive and seems to understand my need to fit in here so I can be helpful in this community.  Before i met her, I felt like I was burning the candle at both ends, trying to put so many strategies into effect, besides I wasn't sleeping well either waking with new ideas, some even from dreams.  Recently, my cancer girlfriend taught me how to meditate and that's been calming.  In fact, I'm starting to understand that discussing a philosophy of a self sustaining local agriculture that nurtures the land as well as our bodies is adding a sense meaning and greater commitment to the effort overall.

Took me a moment to figure out if this was autobiographical and then I realized you are embodying a character here! One correction so far - it's not necessarily so that this individual would rather learn from experience than reading books. This person might read a lot of books - the issue would be disorganization and scatteredness, but I wouldn't say that experience is preferred over books. The key is applying and putting into useful action what one learns of course.

Great correlation with the apprenticeship with the local newspaper editor.

New ideas from dreams isn't implicit in this signature. I think I see you drawing from the 12th house Sag when you reference discussing a philosophy of a self sustaining local agriculture - as this gives a focus for all the frenetic activity of the 6th house Gemini.

I see you grasping the essence of this signature in your story - and please be invited to read what others have written and my responses to them (in particular Marija as I recall) to connect with a bit more dimension here.
