Wanting to check my understanding of transmutation and why it is associated with Scorpio and the 8th house.  How is this observed in a person?  We face our limits in Scorpio and we do not have the ability to transmute, so it is a limit of the human experience... Is it the soul's desire to transmute? The soul dies and is reborn over many lifetimes with different genetic material each time and thus this connects to the Scorpio/8th house archetype...?  This feels anti-climatic to me. Would it be a unique mind set for someone with a strongly emphasized 8th house to have the desire to transmute opposed to this being a  universally shared desire?

Metaphoric deaths would be considered transformation and associated with Uranus, connected with the mind.  Transcendence would be felt in the emotional body through unconditional love and unity consciousness.

Maybe I am over analyzing this…I believe I understand the essence of Scorpio regarding involution and evolution. What I am seeking to clarify is does the transformation of Uranus affects our overall perspective and Pluto’s metamorphosis affects how we relate to ourselves as a soul with desires?
I watched one of the office hours speaking about the outer planets and it had me re-examining my understanding and want to make sure that I am not missing anything.

Transmutation is a total and utter change at the CORE level (so in this case speaking to the soul level itself, actual evolution) Butterfly will not go back to caterpillar

Transformation occurs only at the level of caterpillar or at the level of butterfly, but does not change one into the other. So on the level of Uranus it's a break from conditioned thinking, seeing reality as it is relative to one's existing stage of evolution and thus a total shift in one's thinking. Of course perception will always be limited by one's existing evolutionary state.

Transcendence is beyond the world, beyond the conditions of the world - where forgiveness/ unconditional love points to a reality that is not affected by time and space.

Let me know if this helps/ answers your question.
